Days Are Flying By!

At this point, I'm just a little more than a week away from graduation and life couldn't be going by any faster.  And I have much to update on.

1)  After talking with my good friend Brad Stephens, Brad was able to include a stop in Paris the weekend after July 4th on his way to India for a work related trip.  Tom and I are talking about how we can make the logistics work for him, Brad, and myself but I'm sure we'll be able to work out something that will work for all of us.

2)  Finally did some planning on how I'm getting from Dublin to London.  Turns out, Ryanair has like 20 euro flights throughout the day, so I'm waiting on a response from Tom which airport I should come in to (there are three domestic airports within London's city limits).

3)  Just heard the good news that my Mom and Dad are going to be able to fly into Vienna for my friend Oliver's wedding.  Couldn't be happier, this will be the first time my dad has been to Europe and my Mom's first time since her trip to Paris at the age of 18 (I don't think we want to know what year that was).

4)  After Oliver's wedding, my Mom and I will be traveling to Italy to explore Venice, Rome, and Florence as a graduation present.  We're still working through the details, but with the help of a travel agent, things are starting to work out.

5)  Starting to do more research on what kind of items I need, gota get a backpack/day pack and cloths and what not.  Maybe during finals week and can start getting a better idea of what I have and what I need.

Until next time,

Jay

  1. My rain jacket has been my most precious article of clothing I brought with me - make sure you have a good one! (Hopefully you have beautiful summer weather though)

Good comfy shoes are also a must!
