So I know its been a long time since I last posted (December) but Senior year is just flying by so fast! With just getting tapped into Sigma Sigma, Men of METRO, Tau Beta Pi, and trying to obtain that 3.60 GPA to get Cum Laude, and working part time with GE to help pay for this trip, I'm finding that sleep is one of the largest variable I can work with.
But wanted to give a quick update for those who are following. Over the last two week's I've talked to my friends Oliver and French Tom and now have the first 1.5 months planned. I will be flying over to Dublin on June 26th and landing on June 27th. I've talked to Stephen Cunningham and am hoping we can meet up for a meal or drink as he's currently with their national guard.
On June 29th I travel to London to visit my friend French Tom. Tom was a PIKE while he was an undergrad on the west coast but spent a year at the University of Cincinnati a few years ago and am glad I was able to keep up the contact.
On July 5th we plan to take the chunnel and travel to Paris and stay with Tom's Uncle. After spending a week in Paris, we plan on going to visit Tom's friend in Barcelona on July 10th. On July 17th I travel to Vienna to celebrate and participate in my buddy's wedding in a Viennese Castle!
I'm still working with my parents to see if they can come to Oliver's wedding (I hope they do) and my plans for afterwords may be impacted. I would love to explore Italy with them, saving some money, have some quality time with the parents, however if not, I'll probably head north and visit Italy after Oktoberfest once tourism starts to die down.
